Hello again! Sorry for having to dip out at such short notice, but MAGfest summoned Link, Groose and I away. (And it was quite a good time!) After a 20+ hour drive home, I’m back in business again and will resume arting ask replies!

I have to say I agree with this.

Not everyone has the same preferences with pairings and I keep getting a lot of asks that might be seen as a bit of a dig with people who have a different pairing.

Obviously I dont’ wanna stray too far away from character so I won’t be directly shipping most things besides linkxzelda because it seems i can’t help myself. but anyone has the right to ship who they like and theres no need to go out of your way to try and upset someone who has a different otp.

I don’t really care about ships because like… It’s a RPG… I think making up a portion of the story is the point to the game. You know?

Please refrain from asking things like “DON’T YOU THINK IT’S STUPID HAVING THIS PERSON SHIPPED WITH YOU.” But rather “How do you feel about this shipping” and I will try to answer in a way respecting of the game. dfkjhfgkjdhgkjdfhg

This is a very uncute side of the fandom, where a sense of entitlement brings out the ugly in others, and that’s really quite sad. Have some respect for people before smearing their name through the dirt with 14-year-old weaboo terms and deeming them all lower as individuals, only because their otp is different. Stop and think for a second as to what you’re gaining by doing this— one thing you certainly aren’t gaining is another person to devote to your ship. (Trouble is, they never seem to be thinking at all. Sweeping generalizations are nice, aren’t they?)

For the record, this is why I stated ‘ask ship-related questions at your own risk.’. I— like most askblogs— play the character as close to canon as possible, but I am quite able to utilize certain liberties and biases if others feel the need to impose their bias on me too. It keeps things interesting, in the event, and sets one apart from the plethora of other askblogs. Eventually many will find a common ground and settle for the one that best suits them. All in all, it’s entertainment, much like the game is. Not a shark tank, where people bait others with hate to watch a frenzy occur. This is supposed to make people happy.

Thankfully I have yet to get a condescending remark like Link got, but rest assured, the day I do is the day it will get deleted or snarked. There is just no sense in that kind of negativity— and projecting your own is literally accomplishing nothing. LOOK AT YOUR LIFE!! LOOK AT YOUR CHOICES!!!

Sorry to bombard with the wall of text/parroting, but I felt this was very important, and I hope this childish, intolerant, IGNORANT behavior can one day be snuffed out for good. We’re all better than this! Let’s just enjoy what we love! c’: ]

I hate making another ooc post again so soon ahaha.

I just wanted to apologize for the space between my posts. As you know, I draw every single reply and I actually try to put at least some effort into them, unless it’s meant to be silly. I’ve also had commissionwork on the side, but my workload has eased a bit. Woo!

I will be opening my askbox every Wednesday. Even if I am overloaded. Keep in mind, I will get to the questions I already have, and will compound any doubles I get into an image. Makes things easier! (The only ones I delete are ones I have done previously and got asked again after posting it.)
